Liturgy to go along with sermon on 2 Samuel 6:1-5, 12b-19 & Ephesians 1:3-14

Call to Worship (from Feasting on the Word for this date)
One: Come, let us worship God with the passion and joy of King David and all the people who sang and danced before the ark of the covenant.
ALL: Let us worship our Savior with the songs of praise and thanksgiving of the apostle Paul and all who are blessed with every spiritual blessing.
One: God has blessed us in our Lord Jesus Christ, destined us to be children of God, and sealed us in the Holy Spirit.
ALL: Let us worship God.

Offering Prayer (original)
God of Blessing, you have cared and planned for us from the beginning of time. In your good pleasure you give to us freely and abundantly; food, shelter, clothing, family, friends, love, purpose, the mercy of Christ, and the indwelling of the Spirit are ours because of your provision! We joyfully give back to you a small part of all you've given. We ask you to bless and multiply these our ordinary gifts so that in them you might make your extraordinary presence known. Amen.

Sending Forth & Benediction (original):
Go, focused on small works of grace in daily life and dancing through your ordinary week.
May the love of God, the purpose of Christ, and the sealing of the Spirit carry you throughout this week.
